Return on Ad Spend (ROAS): Meaning and UAE Example
Return On Ad Spend (ROAS): Return on ad spend compares the revenue a campaign generates against the money invested in it. Divide revenue by ad spend to get a ratio such as 4:1, meaning four dirhams back for every one spent. ROAS shows whether advertising is genuinely profitable, so it guides how much budget a business should confidently commit.
A UAE example
An Abu Dhabi e-commerce shop spending AED 5,000 on Meta Ads and earning AED 20,000 in sales has a ROAS of 4:1. UpStream would then look at which products and audiences drive that return, shifting more budget toward the combinations that keep the ratio high.
