Click-Through Rate (CTR): Meaning and UAE Example
Click-Through Rate (CTR): Click-through rate is the percentage of people who click after seeing your advert, email or search listing. You work it out by dividing clicks by impressions, then multiplying by 100. A healthy rate suggests your headline, image and offer resonate with the audience, making CTR a quick signal of how appealing your creative and message really are.
A UAE example
If a Sharjah gym advert is shown 10,000 times and earns 200 clicks, its CTR is 2 per cent. UpStream might test a sharper headline or a clearer offer to lift that figure, since a stronger rate usually lowers cost per click over the same budget.
