GGR Trade is a Dubai general-trading and workplace-safety supplier (PPE, safety footwear, workwear, uniforms and more) serving procurement buyers across the Emirates. These buyers need quotes for their requirements, not a consumer checkout.
The site had to present a broad safety catalogue with industry- and hazard-based buying paths, and publish only verifiable facts while conflicting addresses, founding years and old marketing stats were held back until confirmed.
Procurement buyers request pricing per requirement, not per unit at checkout. We built a quote-led model: every product routes to a working request-for-quote, WhatsApp or call, with a smart RFQ tool to add products while browsing, plus bulk SKU paste and tender or bill-of-quantities upload.
One source of truth was needed for contact details and claims across many pages. We made all content data-driven from a single business configuration, with unverified fields flagged for confirmation and unsupported statistics deliberately withheld.
Buyers shop by hazard or industry, not just SKU. We organised products by body-area and hazard categories, with industry pages and solution paths for uniform programmes and corporate procurement.
| Page or section | Purpose | Main functionality |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Position one-source safety supply and route to products or RFQ | Category and industry entry points, RFQ CTAs |
| Products catalogue | Browse PPE by hazard and body area | Search, category and colour filters, sort, and a per-product Quote button |
| Industries | Sector buying paths (construction, oil and gas, logistics and more) | Industry-specific product and solution links |
| Solutions | Uniform programmes, corporate procurement and consultation | Solution detail and enquiry |
| Contact / RFQ | Capture quotes and enquiries | RFQ form, bulk SKU paste, tender or BOQ upload, WhatsApp, phone and email |
A buyer enters by product category, hazard or industry, searches and filters the catalogue, adds items to a running request-for-quote (or pastes SKUs or uploads a bill of quantities), then submits the RFQ or contacts the team, and GGR returns a personalised quotation. There is no cart or checkout.
| Layer | Technology | Role in the project |
|---|---|---|
| Build | Dependency-free Node static-site generator | Generates the static site from JSON data for cPanel hosting |
| Front end | Semantic HTML, layered CSS, vanilla JavaScript modules | Catalogue, filters and RFQ UI |
| Forms | PHP endpoints | RFQ, contact, upload and newsletter handling |
| App | PWA (manifest and service worker) | Offline support and installability |
The site is mobile-first, built with modern layered CSS. Specific breakpoints were not separately audited.
The build generates a sitemap, robots file, canonical tags, PWA manifest and structured data from the content model, and the honesty policy keeps unverified claims out of indexable content. This is structure and crawlability work, not a ranking claim.
A launched, maintainable B2B site where the content model generates pages, sitemap and structured data.
A complete quote journey from catalogue to a personalised quotation, with no public prices.
Delivery outcomes describe what was built and shipped. Traffic, ranking and sales outcomes require separate evidence and are not claimed here.
